This city is nestled at the southern end of the Ural Mountain chain, the traditional border of Europe and Asia. Russia’s fifth largest city, it has long been an industrial and administrative center for the Ural region. Alliance workers have labored in evangelism alongside ministers of the AMCEC group of churches since 2004. Today much outreach is done through teaching the English language and by encouraging and training local believers to share their faith. The immediate goal of Alliance work in Ekaterinburg is the planting of a new church.
